Nicolette is from Mamterrilleq and owns “Sew Yup’ik”. She travels throughout the state teaching qaspeq workshops in both rural and urban settings. Nikki’s was inspired to start sewing by her aunts and grandmothers who were amazingly skilled seamstresses, and is continually motivated by looking at their past creations.
